Small studio rhythm, neighbourly tone

We work from Avonside in Ōtautahi Christchurch. The goal is simple: help people arrange notebooks, calendars, and downtime without importing Silicon Valley urgency. What you read here is what we build—no hidden funnels.

He waka eke noa. We are all in this together—so our copy stays plain, our pricing stays visible when money changes hands, and our legal pages stay linked where you expect them. That transparency also helps when we run advertising that points home to New Zealand readers.

Why three columns keep showing up

Trios turn up in hāngī prep, cricket fields, and the way many of us chunk a weekend: Friday tidy, Saturday out, Sunday reset. Three columns give structure you can read at a glance on a phone at the bus stop.

What we deliberately leave out

No guilt timers, no “life hack” hype, and no wording that suggests we cure or diagnose health conditions. We are not registered clinicians; we talk about desks, diaries, and everyday pauses.

What we build with

Semantic HTML, readable type, colours borrowed from Canterbury evenings. JavaScript powers consent and forms; legal text lives in static pages you can save offline if the power cuts out mid-storm.

Pick the lens you need today

Honesty first, modest motion second. We credit contributors, cite where ideas came from, and correct mistakes in the open when someone nudges us.

Cadence we try to keep

Optional weekly export

Plain files you can stash on your machine. Skip a week and nothing pings you with shame.

Accessibility as default

Visible focus rings, colour contrast checked against WCAG-style targets, motion toned down when your OS asks for it.

Privacy Act 2020 first

We collect the minimum, tell you why, and point to the Privacy Policy for retention and complaints pathways.
